The Wheel of Time

An Oil, Ceramic and Mixed Media Exhibition

By

Marina Lubow

The depth of artistic expression is reflective in the message and mode that demonstrates the meaning within the abstract forms. Shaping the contours with a textured edge and a sharp imagination, Marina Lubow combines pan-human messages and a surrealistic style to design each piece as a representation of mood and self-awareness. Fusing figurative innovation with a naturalistic approach, Lubow’s artistic creations transcend formal language to reach the Earthen roots of humanity within society. Lubow's sculptures and paintings focus on the moving strength of still objects and the power of delicate subtleties.

"Experiencing some of the richness of different cultures has shown me that the differences between people is minimal compared to our commonalities. I have found that my voice carries more depth when I work with shapes, colors and textures, since I can present my ideas with a worldly connection and an open setting."

Lubow is a native of Kazakhstan who began her artistic studies with her father, government decorative programs and independent projects that offered her direction to refine her technique. Lubow previously resided in Finland and Russia, before moving to Miami two and a half years ago. With more than 25 years of painting, Lubow sites the works Salvador Dali and Hieronymus Bosch as primary influences and directional references to form her messages within her art. Marina has also displayed her work locally at Miami Artworks and a few local street festivals. The Wallflower Gallery is proud to present Marina Lubow as a featured artist for this Fine Art Exhibition & Accent Piece Presentation.
